1. Mt Talau
Highest mountain in Vava’u stands 131meters 2km west of Neiafu.
2. 'Esi 'o Salote
Frequent visiting site of the late Queen Salote Tupou III with her 2 sons to swim. The eldest of the 2 sons became King Taufa’ahau Tupou IV and HRH prince Tu’ipelehake.
3. "Utuala'aina
Residental site of the 10th Tu’i Tonga Momo and his wife from the noble line of Tu’i Ha’amea.
4. Pouono
Secret ground in the center of Neiafu where the First King of Tonga, George Tupou 1 proudly committed his country, people and posterity to God’s protection.
5. Hila ki Tapana
Residential site of one of the mana’ia in Vava’u. His reputation is claimed due to his good looks and charm. Story goes, here he coulld catch a glimpse of a beautiful woman who lived in Tapana.
6. 'Eneio Botanical Garden
22 acres of botanical garden with variety of flaura and fauna.
7. Veimumuni Cave
Bathing place of the maiden goddess Vei, well known for her breathtaking beauty.
8. 'Ana Pekepeka/ Swallow Cave
Most popular cave for snorkels and divers aike. Maximum depth of around 18 meters.
9. 'Ana Uku/ Mariner cave
Not visible above water. Dive or swim 3 meters underwater to be able to enter the cave.
10. 'Esi 'o Lupepau'u
Perfect lookout facing the entrance into Port of Refuge.
11. Kilikilitefua Wall (Makave)
A wall piled volcanic rocks around 400 years ago used as an ongoing census for the noble family.
